Summer Color

Summer color  + In case you come back  by: Marla Miniano, Reese Lansangan & Jaime Catt ( you can read this book if you want to get some "feels" this summer

I always want to try new things : hobbies, foods, clothing style, and different field (hahaha!), even the unusual color of nail polish. Simpleng bagay, pero bago sa buhay ko.

Yesterday, my mom and I went to the parlor to get our nails done, to have our eyebrows trimmed, and other girly important activities. Growing up, ginusto ko maglagay ng nail polish pero hindi pwede kasi I am studying in a catholic school, even during my college years, I never tried to do this kind of activity.

Wait, I remember that I have tried it before, but I only choose to  put french tip design. I never tried to put my "dream nail color".... so guess who finally colored her nails with her favorite summer color.

Well, I am not surprised with the usual reaction of my father, he was like: "Wow, bakit ganyan kulay ng kamay mo?" "Ang arte na". Hey, I knew he was going to say it as a joke!

These are the little things that add confidence to me. It makes me feel great. It makes me feel that I cared for myself. By the way, I want to say sorry, because I rarely update my blog. I  realized that "adult life" is not a joke.

I will be going to Vigan, Ilocos this wait, so wait for my next blog. :)

First Weekend Adventure 2017!

What a crazy weekend! I went to Manila City last Sunday to show my support to Trixia because she had an exhibit for her final school requirement. The exhibit was called "Lucrecia Lunatica: A Manifestation of beauty and Madness". In their Facebook page, this is an art fair, where you can explore the imaginative minds of A-406 B Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Multimedia Arts exhibitors, and experience the crazy evocative aesthetic of the awaited gallery" .

I know I am not good at drawing, painting, nor editing pictures, that's why I will always admire those people who can give life to their imaginations. People who can tell hidden stories in every brush strokes. below are the best artwork I've see in the exhibit:

Sadly, I wasn't able to ask the painters on sharing the stories behind their artwork, but one thing I observed in any artworks or paintings, it's all about the time that the painters gave, just to finish a story.
Dalawang bagay ang gusto kong sabihin tungkol sa observtion ko. First, artists gave their time. The time to do their drafts, and sometimes, artist go crazy, so that they can unleash their creativity. Sometimes, artists produce exquisite paintings, because of their experiences.

Those are their experiences that would make you wonder.I remember I asked Trixia, what's the story behind her painting, she said that she painted it, back to the time when her relationship was falling apart. I think heartbreaks are sometimes considered as great stories because it lets you do great things.
